Psychosocial Disabilities Psychologist To Help With Better Mental Health

A psychosocial disability arises when someone with a mental health condition interacts with a social environment that presents barriers to their equality with others. The Do Network therapists specialise in reintegrating the individual back into their social environment with a capacity building approach.

We work on skills areas to increase resilience in the client, such as:

  • gradually introducing certain types of environments

  • improving concentration

  • having enough stamina to complete tasks

  • coping with time pressures and multiple tasks

  • interacting with others

  • understanding constructive feedback

  • managing stress
