How to complete Functional Capacity Assessments - for OTs, Psychologists and Social Workers - 1 day workshop

$450.00

A one-day workshop specifically designed and focused on completing functional capacity assessments for NDIS participants with a psychosocial disability, cognitive disability/impairment or an intellectual disability.

This workshop is designed for Occupational Therapists, Psychologist and Social Workers who are familiar with the Allen’s Cognitive Disabilities Model or have completed our two-day introductory workshop in the model and use of the ACLS and LACLS.

NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments and Reports for access requests, NDIS plans, Assistive Technology, Supported Independent Living, Independent Living Options and Specialist Disability Accommodation across all domains of NDIS funding criteria are covered in this one-day workshop presented by The Do Network.

The NDIS is a deficit-focused model of assessment that conflicts with a strengths-based approach. So, how do we work in this space to effectively advocate for our participants to access the right support?

Functional Capacity Assessments for the NDIS need to be carefully crafted to ensure participants get the right amount and type of core and capacity building supports. At The Do Network, a group of experienced clinical occupational therapists and psychologists have spent years refining and adapting this process including developing and refining templates. Our Functional Capacity Assessments and reports are consistently successful in enabling the right funding to be accessed.

Now, we bring this knowledge and experience to you. We want to help make your work life easier and more productive by simplifying and refining your reports to ensure better outcomes for NDIS participants.

What’s in the workshop?

How many can attend a workshop?

Workshop sizes are kept to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure the workshop can be individualised to each participant’s needs.
